13,000 hours of fixed-wing flying time (real airplanes) and I've always wanted something the "fly" around the house and relax with. This thing fits the bill PERFECTLY!! Now I'm thinking about getting my rotor-wing rating. e-store came through with flying colors as far as delivery. A little lacking on notification of shipping, but it was on it's way regardless. I'll be back!

This heli amazes me in ways i never thought possible. It arrived 4 days after i made the order and i ordered it on a Sunday! It does great in LOW wind and i hate that i didn't do this sooner. If you're considering buying a good indoor and outdoor helicopter for a low price, THIS IS IT!!!

I bought this Helicopter a few days ago now, it is such a dream to fly, but any wind does make it hard to fly, can be flown outside as long as the wind is calm. I have crashed it a few times and it is solid. Only negative thing I can say about it is that the battery does not last to long, around maybe 15 minutes and then takes a hour and a half to recharge. If you are looking for a great beginner helicopter this is the one for you. I would not hesitate buying another one for my children.

Easy to fly, not really for outdoors

This is a decent sized good looking training heli. It is small enough to fly inside with care but heavier than the micro sized models. It gets caught in its own turbulence but not so badly affected. I tried it outside and although it will fly happily, it does seem to get caught in even the lightest wind, and gets carried away. This means don't fly too near high trees, buildings or people. Fly it nearer the ground means it benefits from ground effect and is less impacted by ambient winds. Or fly at night when the air is generally still.
Charge time is a little over an hour. It's worth switching off the transmitter when handling the heli after it's toppled or just repositioning. The throttle control is very sensitive and it's easy to inadvertently start the rotors when picking it up.
Great fun and easy to make it look like you know what you're doing with it.

Out of the box, it's beautiful, and flies in a like manner. I moved the batteries in the two I have, slightly back in their holders to slow them a bit, and this model will fly outside just fine in proper conditions. Being a familiar 3-channel layout, you can just pick it up and fly it. Even if you do manage to lose it and crash, you'll be pleased to find it only bounces. Fit and finish are beautiful. (I accidentally discovered that all the white plastic parts are UV-sensitive!) It's about twice the size of the S107 it looks like. I found it easy to hold hover, it doesn't get out of shape. Zero TBE! This size of copter is a nice compromise between the bitty-birds and the "Hobby Grade" stuff that takes so much more owner involvement. Even if you're in a dorm, you will still be able to fly it indoors, with some care. If your rooms are a bit larger than the average, you will really like this item. Heartily Endorsed!
